What Makes the StairKing So Great?
The StairKing comes in two models, but both include a ½ horsepower, 50 amp, high torque motor that runs cooler under load for better performance and safety. The industrial grade gearbox transmits steady power as a preferable design to other motor designs. An auto rewind ratchet works first to take the slack out of the cargo belt and then provides a ratchet crank to securely tighten the load to the hand truck. All of this drives the continuous tread stair climbers above the wheels that grip the stair and raise the hand truck from one stair to the next.
The noseplate measures 24” by 4” deep with a welded magnesium frame for strength and durability. Wheels are 6” Moldon rubber for firm grip and easy rolling. The lifting feet are polyurethane and 2” in diameter to provide a more secure stair-gripping surface. The hand truck includes a sealed and maintenance free battery with a charger and circuit breaker included.

- Kick Out Wheel for StairKing Model KOW KIT: This attachable set of 3.5” casters allows the StairKing to have four-wheel stability when moving along a flat surface. This kick out wheel attachment includes 3.5” swivel casters, and the capacity for this option is 850 pounds. Dimensions are width 27”, height 25”, depth 18” and weight for the attachment is 14 pounds.
- Superwheel Option for StairKing Model MSWK: The Superwheel option installs in seconds and increases the size of the main hand truck wheels to 10” by 4” wide (fully pneumatic tires), providing 4 wheel support for easy transport over rough surfaces. Capacity for this option is 850 pounds.
- Winch Lift for StairKing Model WLF: The hand operated winch lift is an all aluminum construction, has a lift height of 57.25” and a capacity of 800 pounds and 33.75 cubic feet. The winch can be factory installed or installed in the field as a retrofit. An auto braking system is included for added safety. The winch lift includes 18” forks with adjustable width up to 19” outside dimensions. The unit dimensions are width 25.25”, height 70”, depth 33” and a weight of 67 pounds. The winch lift includes 3.5” Jarvis advantage swivel casters.
- Steel Nose Extension for StairKing Model NE-28 NOSEPLATE: This steel constructed extension to the noseplate of the standard model easily clips on the standard toe plate and increases the cargo surface to width 28”, height 4”, depth 12” with a capacity of 850 pounds.
